Apple today displayed the firm's latest cell telephone, the iPhone 4S. Apple announced the iPhone 4S will be much quicker than its precursor, the iPhone four, thanks to its new dual-core A5 processor and a dual-core GPU. Apple also improved the battery lifespan on its iPhone 4S, promising up to eight hours of talk time or six hours of scanning on a 3G network. When referring to connectivity Apple commented that its iPhone 4S can cleverly jump between antennas for broadcasting and receiving information, boosting speeds and performance. The telephone supports 14.4Mbps HSPA. The iPhone 4S sports an 8MP camera ( at 32642448 ) with a quicker capture time than the iPhone four. It also allows for 1080p HD video recording. Apple's latest telephone will ship with its new mobile operating software iOS5. Apple further commented that the iPhone will get Siri voice control which permits users to set an alarm, answer to messages and get directions using natural language commands. The iPhone 4S will launch in black and white on fourteen October, with pricing beginning at $199 for a 16GB version, $299 for a 32GB telephone and $399 for a 64GB gizmo.
